This paper explores the relationship between the recent developments in occupied Palestine (al‑Aqṣā Storm) and the events preceding the appearance of Imam al‑Mahdi. The study aims to assess how developments in the Levant region correlate with the Mahdī’s advent. Addressing this topic is essential to avoid cognitive biases and comparative errors regarding the Palestinian conflict—one of the Levant’s focal crises in the End Times. Employing a descriptive‑analytical methodology grounded in an exegetical reading of the opening verses of chapter al‑Isrāʼ, the research finds that speculative attempts to map Levantine events directly onto prophetic traditions are not sufficiently robust. Although early exegetes did not unanimously identify these verses with pre‑appearance signs, our analysis indicates that texts concerning Mahdism point to Divine promises and the fulfillment of God’s eternal laws. Furthermore, the Resistance front falls within the scope of Divine support (Naṣr) and is actively preparing the ground for the Mahdi’s emergence.
