Throughout the history of mankind, the belief in a Savior has always been under the influence of different conditions and special suggestions. Depending on the circumstances of society, believing in this doctrine has been varied between intensity and lethargy. Sometimes the Savior was thought of as a man with an ethnic and worldly mission, and sometimes he was imagined as a trans-ethnic and trans-cosmic figure. Anyhow, this doctrine has been constantly altered throughout history. Various titles are mentioned for the concept of the apocalyptic Savior in both the Old and New Testaments. One of these titles, which is frequently mentioned for the Savior at the End of Time, especially in the New Testament, is the "Son of Man". This title encompasses a meaning and mission for the Savior at the end of time beyond what is mentioned for the Messiah in Judaism.
The present article, with a descriptive-analytic approach, seeks to make an inquiry to discover the evolution of the Saviorship based on the title "Son of Man" and the prerequisites in forming the belief in this title as the apocalyptic Savior, and to investigate the course process of the savior in the Old and New Testaments conceptually.
