The present article, by the descriptive-analytical method and using library resources, attempts to analyze the features and characteristics of the expectant people in the school of thought of martyr Qāsim Soleimani. With a brief review of the characteristics of the companions of Imam Mahdi in Hadiths, will be obtained some items such as strong faith, courage, simplicity, love for the oppressed and strictness with oppressors, self-purification and personal reform, proper knowledge about the Imam of the Time, holding firmly to the rope of the Ahl al-Bayt (pbut), Awating the deliverance, and the feeling of being in the presence of the Imam. These characteristics can be clearly seen in all aspects of the life martyr Soleimani. According to this article, Genaral Soleimani is a symbol of a brave Awaiting individual, who in our era can be a good exemplar for everyone, especially young people who like to know the qualities of a real expectant one. Even if they want to consider a model of real expectant one in their lives, it would be better to pay attention to martyr Soleimani’s life, and try to prepare themselves and their society for
the appearance of Imam Mahdi (pbuh), both internally and externally aspects.
