In some respects, among the humanities’ topics, “Anthropology” is considered as the most important issue. Considering the significant growth of futurology and the importance of Mahdism and the Appearance in Islam, it is very necessary and important to pay attention to the anthropological foundations of futurology. This paper aims to investigate the differences between the anthropological principles of Islamic and Western futurology. The research methodology used in this essay is Library-based method with a descriptive-analytic approach. The Islamic futurology, based on the Monotheistic view, is aimed at the Mahdism and the advent of Imam Mahdi, and contrary to the Western viewpoint, the future and destiny of humanity is clear, and the religion has a significant role in the future of man and the world. The most important differences between anthropological principles in the Islamic futurism and western futurism are as follows: God-oriented man instead of Humanism, the Eternal man instead of material man, and to believe in one world nation instead of nationalism; and the presented theory of “Islamic Futurology” will actualize inevitably.
