The present paper tends to analyze the effective factors of hesitation in believing in Mahdism and make an inquiry into the interconnectedness of injurious factors during the time of Imam Mahdi’s disappearance, according to the infallible Imams’ viewpoint, with a futuristic approach. This study aims to raise awareness about an intelligent confrontation with these challenging doctrinal factors in contemporary times. In this research, it is postulated that the Ahl al-Bayt’s prophecy about the future, because of their immaculacy and vast knowledge, helps those who await the Imam to realize the degree of accuracy or deviation in the belief in Mahdism; and accordingly, adopt a suitable strategy to resist doctrinal deviance. The research methodology used in this paper is a descriptive-analytic method based on the books of Hadith and futurology. According to the futuristic approach, we find that this issue can be examined in the form of an analysis of the effective events of depraving the beliefs of those who await the Imam; Therefore, at first, the Imams have warned people of the dangers, and in the second stage, by referring to the causes and stages of the diversions of Mahdism, they have considered these items as an interconnected set in which cause going astray from the Mahdism in the future. In the third stage, they have emphasized the passage of Shia from threats by perspicacity and vigilance in the future.
